The town of Mortara (Pv) is located in the Po valley and is well known in Italy and abroad for its mouthwatering yet delicate goose salami, IGP-labelled in 2004, to be enjoyed cold as a chic appetizer or served warm with some traditional mashed potatoes.
A tasting of Sarpa di Poli Grappa after dinner would perfectly match such a rich, outstanding meal and offers a great combo made with some of the best delicacies Northern-Italy is known for !
The 7th edition of Round Table Italia was held on the 21st of November 2011: we were guests at the "Wine Bar" in Mortara, in the wine cellar!
Many thanks to all the locals.
