“Tourism is the union between territory, food & wine and culture”. The minister Gian Marco Centinaio talked about this topic on Saturday, March 30th 2019 in occasion of Premio Italia a Tavola.
During the congress convegno "Identità dell’enogastronomia e dell’accoglienza - Il vero volano del turismo" with Roberta Garibaldi as moderator, 6 examples of success 6 successful cases in the hospitality industry were presented, among which the Poli Grappa Museum, founded by Jacopo and Cristina Poli in 1993.
Jacopo Poli recounted the path of the Museum over the last 25 years, which led it to be one of the most visited business museums in Italy.
The wine tourism is a resource to exploit, 30% of the tourists is after the Made in Italy.
Based on this figure, the main Italian Institutional representatives discussed the round table.
