HAMBURG, March 18th

A total amount of 8 different Poli Grappa varieties were enjoyed by those taking part to the Round Table arranged in Cornelia Poletto’s former cooking school:
her cooks got delicious dishes ready, matching Grappa’s delicate aromas. UVA VIVA ITALIANA was regarded as the most favourite spirit for that night.
 

OLDENBURG, March 19th

Restaurant Sierra, focusing on mediterranean cuisine, was chosen to host the second Round Table on german ground.

More than 25 people were called in to follow Jacopo’s seminar on Grappa and its many features, due to the region they’re from and the grape variety they’re made with, as well as if they were aged or not.

In addition to Poli Barrique, our Bomb egg liqueur was highly appreciated.

Mr. Toni Poli, Jacopo’s father, gave birth to Poli Barrique back in the nineties: it’s made out of a cuvée of local grape varieties and undergoes a long ageing process in a barrel.

The alcoohol content is also slightly higher than usual. A Grappa meant to cuddle oneself, with a nice cigar, it tastes even better!
 

BREMA, March 19th

More than 30 people accepted Jacopo’s invitation to restaurant Medio in Bremen, where he was welcomed as a star: after enjoying 8 dofferent dishes from the menu, 8 different Grappa were offered. The favourite one for the night was Grappa di Torcolato, obtained from raisin wine grapes.

In semptember, the Vespaiola grape variety is harvested and hung straight off the ceiling, in order for the berries to lose much of their water and grow their sugar content.

In december, the grapes are then pressed and the torcolato wine is created. The Grappa obtained from this raisin wine grapes is called Amorosa di Dicembre.

ROSTOCK, March 20th

Jacopo invited over 20 visitors to Hotel Neptun, with a view on the North sea, where he presented his range of Grappa.

Airone Rosso apéritif was served on crushed ice and was veru much appreciated by all thos taking part to this seminar. Airone Rosso is a liquorous apéritif created with Vermouth and several spices and natural flavourings. Coolnes, fruit scents and loads of fun are rushed into the glass.

8 more Grappa varietes were served, with regard to their region of origin, grape type and ageing process.
 

BERLINO, March 20th

Hotel Bikini 25hours, one of the trendies venues in town, hosted Jacopo’s latest appointment in Germany.

Jacopo Poli spoke about his distillery’s many products, from the classical Sarpa, joining tradition and modernity to Cleopatra Moscato Oro, distilled with an innovative technique and later aged in barrique.

Chef Haya Molcho created for the nice occasion a special menu, featuring persian, austrian, russian and arab cuisine! An unforgettable night in an unforgettable venue!
