Donato Scotti, owner of the La Strada restaurant in Palo Alto, kindly sent us a copy of an article dedicated to Grappa that appeared in "The Wave Magazine" under the title "Grappa, l'elixir incompreso" (Grappa, the unacknowledged elixir), that can be found attached.
The writer of the piece, Kevin Lynch, especially appreciated Poli's Barrique 1992, "an extremely rare distillate" and recommends some excellent restaurants in Palo Alto and San Josè where the most traditional of Italian distillates can be tasted.
